Scientific Games Corporation has named current Aristocrat executive Victor Blanco as its new Chief Technology Officer, effective from 2022.
According to a Friday morning announcement (Asia time), Blanco will overseeScientific Gamestechnology strategy to support the companys leadership team across gaming, lottery, sports betting and iGaming, and to support the development and execution of its games.

Scientific Games described Blanco as an innovative technologist who is passionate about Cloud, Automation and Embedded Systems technologies.
Blanco has been Chief Technology Officer at Aristocrat for the past five years, leading a team of over 1,100 employees across five global and offshore development centers in platform development and delivery, hardware engineering, systems and technology strategy. He also led technical due diligence for Aristocrats Big Fish and Plarium acquisitions in the social gaming space.
Blanco previously served as director of software architecture for HTC and served in multiple software engineering roles at Microsoft where he was part of the team that developed the first Xbox game console.
