US casino giant Caesars Entertainment Inc has unveiled plans to renovate the main entrance and gaming areas of its iconic Las Vegas Strip property, Caesars Palace.
Set to begin imminently and be mostly completed by the end of the year, the multi-million dollar project will see the main entrance entirely rebuilt from the ground up to match the grandeur of the hotel lobby.
It will also feature a dramatic high-domed ceiling, a 15-foot statue ofAugustus Caesar, two new state-of-the-art gaming pits flanking the entrance, a new lobby bar and a renovation of the propertys domed table games floor, Caesars revealed overnight.
Caesars Palace brought a sense of grandeur to the Las Vegas Strip when it was built in 1966, and were proud to continue that legacy with a full reimagining of our main entrance, saidSean McBurney, Caesars Entertainment Regional President.
